BIO/TERROR: Should a biological or terrorist attack occur, the H.E.R.C. can be utilized to decontaminate patients and emergency personnel. Its ability to be used for extended periods of time will help clean-up crews dealing with the aftermath of the attack.
HAZMAT: Showers provide initial surface decontamination of affected patients. Linear layout, lots of floor space can handle high volumes in a timely manner. 700 gallons of onboard fresh water, propane water heaters, and generator provides decon capabilities in remote areas with no city water or power hookup. Awnings with privacy sidewalls fold out from sides with additional showers for even higher patient handling capabilities. The trailer is stocked with post-decon privacy gowns for patients. Patient information can be logged in the computer room, or patients can simply exit to another location. NATURAL DISASTER: Long term natural disaster efforts can be aided with the H.E.R.C. to house emergency personnel, hold a command post, and provide a convenient base to treat patients while remaining highly mobile in the area.
